Replacement Safety Keys
Every HIDE Kit includes a premium Homeowner Key, designed for the safe and easy removal of HIDE Covers. To support pool service professionals and tradespeople, HIDE also offers a low-cost Trade Service Key, providing a convenient spare key for regular maintenance and servicing.
Kits that require two keys to lift the lid come with two keys. These are Kits 1.6, 2.0 and 2.5 inches of inlay depth.
Homeowner safety key
The HIDE Homeowner Safety Key is the standard removal tool supplied with every HIDE Kit, allowing safe and easy removal of HIDE Covers. Manufactured from premium 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it features an ergonomic polished handle for comfort, durability, and a premium finish.
The key is required to remove a HIDE Cover, helping maintain its child-resistant design. For safety, store the key securely and out of reach of children.
Additional or replacement Homeowner Safety Keys are available for purchase, and keys that fail under warranty will be replaced free of charge by HIDE.
Trade Service Key
The HIDE Trade Service Key is a low-cost, compact key designed for pool service professionals and tradespeople. Manufactured from 316 marine-grade stainless steel, it provides the same reliable functionality as the standard HIDE Homeowner Safety Key in a simple flat design that’s easy to keep in a toolbox, service vehicle, or maintenance kit.
Perfect as a spare or dedicated trade-use key, it ensures quick access to HIDE Covers for routine servicing, inspections, and skimmer basket cleaning.
The Trade Service Key is sold separately and is not included with HIDE Kits.

Like all genuine HIDE accessories, HIDE Safety Keys are manufactured from premium materials and built for long-term performance in demanding outdoor environments.
