The below information outlines some of the major trading, shipping and returns provisions from the complete documents listed above. For a comprehensive understanding of all Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd terms and conditions, please read all materials prior to placing an order.

Payment Policy
Online orders cannot be processed via the website at this time. However, you may like to place an order directly with HIDE via email or telephone. Please see the Contact Page for information.

The Payment terms listed within may be subject to change without notice. Please ensure you are aware of the full and current terms and can abide by these terms, prior to placing your order with Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd.

Accepted Methods of Payment

Credit Card (Visa, Master Card)
All credit card payments will be processed prior to dispatch. There are no extra charges for Credit Card payment.

Direct Deposit
Please find the bank account details listed on your invoice.

Cash On Collection
Customers who are located nearby the Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd Brisbane showroom are welcome to collect their order directly to avoid incurring freight costs. Please notify HIDE if you do not require freight when placing your order. Payment can be processed at the Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd showroom on the day of your arranged collection.

Payment:
Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd does not require a minimum order amount for any type of purchase. Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd does not accept part payments of invoices.

Typical payment terms are set out below. Established business partners can be by individual arrangement after a reasonable trading period. Parameters for a “reasonable trading period” include time and quantity of product purchased.

Retail Customers
For all retail sales, full payment of both the order and shipping amount is required prior to dispatch. Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

Trade Partners
For new or infrequent trade partners, full payment of both the order and shipping amount is required prior to dispatch. Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

For established trade partners, the shipping charges will be added to your final invoice and emailed with your tracking information once the order has been dispatched. Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd requires full payment within 7 days of receipt of the invoice.

Wholesale Partners
For new or infrequent wholesale partners, full payment of both the order and shipping amount is required prior to dispatch. Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

For established wholesale partners, the shipping charges will be added to your final invoice and emailed with your tracking information once the order has been dispatched. Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd requires full payment within 7-14 days of receipt of the invoice.

Shipping Policy

The Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd shipping policy covers all sold items to be freighted, including single or bulk orders. Customers who are located nearby the Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd Brisbane showroom are welcome to collect their order directly to avoid incurring freight costs. Please notify Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd if you require freight when placing your order.

Marketing materials and display cabinets are shipped to distributors at no charge, so long as the customer meets the Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd requirements which constitute a “distributor” (please see our Patent and Legal Information page for the full terms).

Packing
For HIDE kit orders: We endeavor to process all orders within a 24 hour period, during normal business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Short delays may occur if the product is not in stock. If an order cannot be filled for any reason, HIDE will notify you by phone or email.

For replacement Safety Key orders: We endeavor to process all orders within a 24 hour period, during normal business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Short delays may occur if a product is not in stock. If an order cannot be filled in a reasonable time period, HIDE will notify you by phone or email.

For QUAD orders – Inlay lid only (supplied empty): We endeavor to process all orders within a 24 hour period, during normal business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Short delays may occur if the product is not in stock or during peak season. If an order cannot be filled in a reasonable time period, HIDE will notify you by phone or email.

For QUAD orders – inlay fitted: We endeavor to process all orders within a 48 hour period on receipt of your inlay material or after confirmation of the stock stone to be fitted. We fit and process during normal business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. Short delays may occur if a product is not in stock. If an order cannot be filled in a reasonable time period, HIDE will notify you by phone or email.

For HIDE custom orders: We can manufacture a HIDE lid to almost any size. Custom orders take approximately 3 weeks to assemble once we have received final confirmation of all measurements. If we are to fit the inlay, there may also be an extra assembly time involved. Please contact us and supply your custom specifications to receive a properly estimated timeframe for manufacturing and delivery. We manufacture and process orders during normal business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday. We require a 50% deposit at the time of order placement with the balance payable prior to dispatch.

Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd will notify you via email once your order has been dispatched. The email will include all tracking details relating to your order. Changes to your order’s delivery status will be indicated via your tracking number on the carrier’s website. All orders are delivered via registered courier and will require a signature unless prior arrangements have been made.

Please get in touch for a quotation if you require international shipping.

Shipping rates
Freight charges are calculated on the weight and size of your packed order, plus your location and type of delivery required ie overnight, express, standard etc. We select the most cost-effective available courier option based on your requirements.

Once you have placed an order, Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd will email an order confirmation invoice which includes shipping costs. Customers are encouraged to utilize the Shipping Cost Calculators on the websites of our preferred carriers (listed above) to estimate their freight expenses. Upon request, Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd can supply approximate weights and dimensions for your order, to enable you to estimate the shipping costs or if you wish to arrange your own shipping. A customer can nominate a chosen provider amongst our preferred suppliers – please notify us of your preference when placing your order.

For established business partners, the shipping charges will be added to your final invoice and emailed with your tracking information once the order has been dispatched.

For retail or new or infrequent trade/wholesale customers, the shipping charges will be estimated upfront, and advised on your order confirmation invoice, and billed to your tax invoice. Total payment of both the order and shipping amount is required prior to dispatch. Tracking information will be emailed once your order is dispatched.

Customers who require custom stone to be fitted at our Brisbane HQ are required to organize and pay for any delivery service and costs if Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd organizes shipping on their behalf. Those located nearby are welcome to deliver their custom stone directly to the Brisbane showroom to avoid incurring freight costs.

Delivery
Delivery times will vary depending on your location, size of order and type of delivery service required ie overnight, express, standard etc.

More information about delivery times can be found on the websites of our preferred carriers (listed above). Please, also factor packing time at Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd into your total expected delivery timeframe.

Orders can be delivered directly to a place of business, a construction/work site or a private residence.

Returns Policy
Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd will only accept a return if an incorrect product was delivered. Any faulty item will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Incorrect or faulty products must be notified in writing to Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd within 3 business days of receipt. Any returned product must be unused, in its original packaging and in its original, re-saleable condition.

Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd will accept a return for approved warranty claims. If a Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd product has been subject to any chemical or acid wash, this will void the warranty. Similarly, if a Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd product/Safety Key has been damaged through incorrect use, this will void the warranty.

Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd does not accept returns for damages incurred during shipping. All items are checked and packaged securely prior to dispatch. If your order has arrived in a damaged state, please contact the courier company.

Distributors who opt to return stock as part of the “No Sell – No Pay” Skimmer Covers Pty Ltd guarantee will still be required to pay for any freight charged incurred to return the stock to the Brisbane HQ. Any stock returned under this guarantee must be unused, in its original packaging and in original, re-saleable condition. Any damages incurred to stock during shipping due to poor protective packaging will be discounted from the final refund.
